«The Vampire Diaries» star Candice King welcomes her third child

She also revealed the baby’s name

American actress Candice King, best known for playing Caroline Forbes in the hit series The Vampire Diaries, has become a mother of three.

The 39-year-old actress shared the joyful news on social media. She and her husband, actor Steven Krueger, welcomed a son named Arlo Dominic Krueger. The baby was born on May 3.

«Welcome to this world, our sweet boy. We are endlessly in love», Candice wrote alongside a touching photo showing the newborn’s tiny hand wrapped around his father’s finger.

The baby is the couple’s first child together, while for the actress he is already her third. Candice is also raising two daughters from her previous marriage to musician Joe King – 10-year-old Florence and 5-year-old Josephine.

Last year, Candice and Steven announced their engagement, followed later by the news that they were expecting a baby. In April 2026, the couple celebrated an intimate wedding ceremony in Nashville.
