Victoria Swarovski impresses at the second semi-final with humour, glamour and musical versatility

Wow!
The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 once again became a major international entertainment highlight on Thursday evening, with Victoria Swarovski at the centre of the show. Together with her co-host, Austrian actor Michael Ostrowski, she guided the live broadcast with confidence, charm and a strong sense of humour, further showcasing her versatility as an entertainer.
The opening already delivered strong entertainment value: with the humorous and self-ironic performance “Wasted Boat”, Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski created one of the most talked-about moments of the night. In the act, the duo reinterpreted the winning song by JJ in their own style, while the iconic boat from last year’s staging was playfully “damaged” in a tongue-in-cheek performance moment.

Fashion-wise, Victoria Swarovski once again set clear highlights, changing her outfit three times throughout the evening. After the “Wasted Boat” performance, she first appeared in a glamorous show look by Albina Dyla.
A particularly striking moment followed with her next quick change: in under 30 seconds, Swarovski switched directly backstage from an elegant show dress into a performance bodysuit by designer Katia Convents. She then joined Michael Ostrowski and a large dance ensemble on stage for the performance of “Excited”, once again surprising the audience with both singing and dancing.
After this high-energy moment, Victoria Swarovski appeared once more in a further look by Albina Dyla before confidently continuing to present the international live show in English. She once again demonstrated strong stage presence and international ease as a host.
Hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 marks one of the most significant milestones in Victoria Swarovski’s career to date – particularly amid an intense period balancing ESC rehearsals in Vienna, live shows of Let’s Dance in Cologne, and the launch of her fashion collection ORIMEI by Victoria Swarovski.

“Hosting the Eurovision Song Contest is a true milestone and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. This show is so much more than entertainment – it brings people, cultures and music together in a very special way. That is exactly what makes Eurovision so unique for me.”
She further added:
“Music has always been a huge passion of mine. I once even considered taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest myself. So it feels incredibly special to now be part of this amazing show as a host – and to even perform musically on stage today. The fact that Eurovision has returned to Austria after JJ’s win makes this moment even more meaningful.”

With her international presence, versatility and professional performance, Victoria Swarovski once again makes a strong statement at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 – modern, relatable and with a clear instinct for big entertainment moments.
