«She taught me resilience»: Kim Kardashian says goodbye to her grandmother

A heartbreaking loss for the family
Sad news has emerged from the Kardashian-Jenner family: Mary Jo Campbell (MJ), the mother of Kris Jenner and grandmother of the famous Kardashian sisters, has passed away at the age of 92.
The family shared the news on social media, posting cherished family photographs alongside heartfelt tributes to the woman many described as the true heart of their family.

Kim Kardashian was among those most deeply affected by the loss. In a touching Instagram post, the 45-year-old businesswoman shared a collection of personal family photos and dedicated a lengthy tribute to MJ, describing her as her best friend, kindred spirit, and one of the most influential figures in her life.

According to Kim, it was her grandmother who taught her, through her own example, what it means to be a strong and independent woman.
«My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my partner in every bit of gossip, my soulmate. You taught all of us how important family is, and those values will stay with us forever. You showed me what it means to be a hardworking and successful businesswoman. You gave me my very first job in your store in San Diego and taught me perseverance, resilience, and self-belief. I will carry those lessons with me for the rest of my life», the star wrote.

Kim also recalled how her grandmother had always supported her during life’s most important moments, believed in her abilities, and provided a sense of comfort and security.
«You always believed in me, supported me, and were the place where I felt safe. You were the true matriarch of our family, and your love will forever remain a part of each of us», Kardashian added.

In her tribute, Kim also asked her grandmother to «give hugs in heaven» to her grandfather Harry, her aunt Karen, and her father Robert Kardashian.
The family has not disclosed the cause of Mary Jo Campbell’s death.
