Emma Roberts shares new wedding photos
And reflects on her special day
Hollywood actress Emma Roberts has shared a new series of photos from her wedding to actor Cody John. The ceremony took place on July 25 at the groom’s family ranch in Sun Valley, Idaho.
For the occasion, Roberts wore a custom-made gown by designer Monique Lhuillier. Crafted from silk chiffon in an antique rose shade, the dress took nearly nine months to create. She completed the look with a long veil and a lace cape.
For the evening celebration, the actress changed into a vintage black ensemble from the same label’s 2004 collection.
Cody John wore a custom-tailored chocolate-brown Ferragamo tuxedo.
Emma also revealed that she and Cody had not read each other’s wedding vows before the ceremony. When they finally exchanged them, they discovered that many of their words and sentiments were remarkably similar.
«We didn’t read our vows ahead of time, and yet there was so much overlap, which I thought was really beautiful. It made the ceremony feel truly unique to us», the actress shared.
One of the ceremony’s most touching moments came when Emma’s four-year-old son, Rhodes, walked his mother down the aisle.
Among the star-studded guest list were Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder, Demi Moore, Sarah Paulson, Kristen Stewart, and Billie Lourd.
«It felt as though time had stopped. For me, that’s the greatest feeling in the world», Emma added.
The couple’s love story began in 2022 after a mutual friend arranged a blind date for them. Two years later, in the summer of 2024, they announced their engagement.
