20th Century Studios has unveiled the new trailer for the long-awaited sequel to the cult classic The Devil Wears Prada.
Alongside the video, the creators also revealed a fresh poster for the film, which is set to premiere on May 1, 2026.
The events of the sequel unfold nearly twenty years after the story audiences saw in the original film.
According to the plot, fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly is preparing to retire. Before that, however, she must save her publication by securing a major advertising contract with a powerful luxury holding. Standing in her way is her former assistant, Emily Charlton — now an influential executive at a competing media company.
The film sees the return of the original stars — Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and Tracie Thoms. They are joined by new cast members including Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, and B. J. Novak.
