Anne Hathaway poses for Vogue and talks about the hardest role of her career

Anne Hathaway is the cover star of the latest issue of American Vogue. The actress graces the magazine’s front page and appears in a stunning photoshoot by Annie Leibovitz – the renowned photographer celebrated for her portraits of celebrities and cultural icons.
On the cover, Anne wears a floral Givenchy dress.
Equally captivating are the images where the actress poses against natural landscapes.
However, the most striking photos are the ones taken inside the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Met, where the star of «The Devil Wears Prada» appears in a sophisticated and artistic light.
In addition to the photographs, the magazine features an exclusive interview in which Anne discusses her upcoming film with director David Lowery, «Mother Mary», where she plays a pop star. Hathaway admitted that it was the most challenging role of her career – preparation took two years and required both physical and emotional transformation. On set, she felt like «a beginner», as the director was crafting a character completely unfamiliar to her.
«I had to accept that I was a beginner. Humility means showing up every day knowing that you suck. And that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you’re bad. It just means you’re new. Coming to that realization meant letting go of something inside me, and that wasn’t easy. But it was necessary work. It was hard – as any transformation is», Anne shared.
It’s also known that, to prepare for the role, Hathaway enrolled in singing and dance classes. Filming has wrapped, but plot details – as well as the release date – remain under wraps for now.
