Queen Rania becomes a grandmother for the second time

A baby girl has been born
Queen Rania of Jordan has shared joyful news – she has become a grandmother for the second time. Her daughter, 28-year-old Princess Iman, gave birth to a baby girl, whom they named Amina.
The Queen posted the first photos of her newborn granddaughter on social media, taken right in the hospital room. The pictures show the happy grandparents – Queen Rania and King Abdullah – holding the baby, with the proud father, Princess Iman’s husband, Venezuelan businessman Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, standing beside them.
«My dear Iman is now a mother. We are grateful and delighted to welcome Amina – our family’s newest blessing. Congratulations, Jameel and Iman! May God bless your precious little girl», Her Majesty wrote under the photo.
One of the first to congratulate Princess Iman on the birth of her first child was her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, along with his wife Rajwa and their daughter Iman (who was named after Hussein’s sister).
«Welcome to the family, Amina! May you bring joy to your parents, be a loving sister, and a lifelong companion to my daughter!» the Crown Prince wrote on Instagram.
For Queen Rania, newborn Amina is her second granddaughter. The first was born in August last year to Hussein and Rajwa.
As for the new parents, Princess Iman and her husband Jameel, they got married in 2023 after meeting while studying in the United States.
