A double addition to the royal family
There is double cause for celebration in the family of Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. Their eldest daughter, 29-year-old Princess Iman, and her husband, Jameel Thermiotis, have become parents for the second time. The couple have welcomed twin girls.
The Hashemite Royal Court officially announced the new arrivals, congratulating King Abdullah II and Queen Rania on the birth of their two granddaughters.
«The Hashemite Royal Court is pleased to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and His Excellency Mr Jameel Alexander Thermiotis have become parents to twins today. May God make them a source of joy in their parents’ eyes», the statement said.
The family has not yet revealed the names of the newborn girls.
Iman and her husband are now parents to three children. The couple are already raising their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Amina.
Jordan’s Princess Iman and her partner, Venezuelan financier Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, celebrated their lavish wedding three years ago.
