Baldoni demands $400 million from the Lively-Reynolds couple

The conflict intensifies
The war between American actress Blake Lively and actor-director of the film «Leave me if you love me», Justin Baldoni, is far from over and has flared up with renewed intensity. After both celebrities filed counter-lawsuits with personal complaints and accusations, Baldoni has launched a new offensive. This time, the 40-year-old director is suing Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, demanding $400 million from the star couple, reports Variety.

In his 179-page statement, Baldoni accuses the couple of extortion, invasion of privacy, and attempting to «destroy» him with false accusations of harassment.
Justin claims that 37-year-old Lively «stole» his film, altered scenes in violation of his rights as a director, and demanded full control over costume choices for her character. The actress allegedly mocked Baldoni’s appearance, suggesting rhinoplasty, and used her husband’s influence to alter the script.

Additionally, the plaintiff accuses Blake and her husband of using their celebrity status to defame and ruin him.
«This lawsuit concerns two of the most powerful stars in the world who used their immense influence to steal an entire film right out of the hands of its director and production studio», the court documents state.

Moreover, two of Baldoni’s spokespeople have also supported him, claiming that Lively and her team initiated a «smear campaign» in the media to gain undeserved public sympathy and shift the blame onto the director for their own missteps in promoting the film.
Lively’s lawyers have already commented on the lawsuit, stating:
«This is a classic case of DARVO – Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender. A woman brings forth accusations with evidence, and the abuser tries to make her the guilty party», the media quotes.
