Blake Lively, best known for her role in «Gossip Girl», recently celebrated her 39th birthday. To mark the occasion, the actress’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, decided to share a rare glimpse into their family life with his followers.
Reynolds, known for his trademark self-deprecating humor, congratulated his wife in his own unmistakable style:
«August 25 is the Super Bowl of our family. Happy birthday to the best person I know. You’re not just another brave and incredibly kind genius. You’re also obscenely cute. I know how lucky I am that you were born. Every time I hit my head, your life is the one that flashes before my eyes», the «Deadpool» star wrote affectionately alongside a series of candid family photos.
In some of the pictures, Blake is seen lovingly embracing her husband, while others feature their children, whom the couple makes every effort to keep out of the public eye.
Reynolds and Lively are parents to four children: 11-year-old James, nine-year-old Inez, six-year-old Betty and three-year-old Olin.
Ryan and Blake’s love story began in 2010 on the set of the film «Green Lantern». The couple married in 2012 and are now regarded as one of Hollywood’s most solid families.
However, the past few years have been far from entirely smooth for the couple. Following Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s work on the film «It Ends with Us», a serious conflict arose between the actors and eventually escalated into a high-profile legal dispute. According to Variety, the actress is now set to receive around $407,000 in reimbursement for costs related to the legal proceedings, although Lively had initially sought approximately $8 million.
