Vienna’s Hofburg Palace becomes the setting for new bridal collections
Featuring Ricca Sposa and Yuliia Lobachova Couture
Recently, Ukrainian bridalwear brands Ricca Sposa and Yuliia Lobachova Couture unveiled their new 2028 collections at Vienna’s historic Hofburg Palace. The event brought together two distinct design visions of contemporary bridal fashion, each with its own aesthetic and character.
Beneath sparkling crystal chandeliers and in the glow of candlelight, models presented designs featuring delicate lace, intricate hand embroidery, elaborate embellishments, sculptural silhouettes and dramatic volumes. One standout moment was a red gown that offered a striking contrast to the traditional white palette of bridalwear.
One of the closing moments of the show was the appearance of Yuliia Lobachova, founder and creative director of both brands. The designer joined the models on the runway.
Portrait Of Her by Yuliia Lobachova Couture
One of the collections presented was Portrait Of Her – a couture line by Yuliia Lobachova Couture inspired by European aristocracy and 18th-century portraiture.
Reinterpreting the aesthetics of court dress, the designer combines romantic opulence with sharply defined architectural silhouettes. Intricate hand embroidery, luxurious embellishments and dramatic volumes shape designs in which historical influences take on a contemporary expression.
The collection’s photoshoot took place at a historic villa in Tuscany. Its interiors and atmosphere extended the visual concept of Portrait Of Her, with each gown expressing its own vision of femininity, individuality and elegance.
Ricca Sposa Couture 2028
The second collection, Ricca Sposa Couture 2028, draws inspiration from the aesthetics of the island of Capri. It features 14 bridal looks, united by a focus on lace, its textures, patterns and variety of finishes.
The collection includes both sculptural mermaid gowns and lighter A-line designs. Distinctive details include elegant slits, detachable trains and boleros, offering different ways to style each bridal look.
The photoshoot was set against the scenic landscapes of Capri. The Mediterranean atmosphere highlighted the collection’s romantic mood and its contemporary take on bridal classics.
