Elon Musk becomes the first trillionaire in history

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially secured his status as the wealthiest person in human history, becoming the first businessman whose net worth has surpassed the one-trillion-dollar mark. The rapid growth of his fortune has been linked to the record-breaking public offering of the aerospace company SpaceX, Reuters reports.
According to reports, the company raised approximately $75 billion, making it the largest initial public offering in U.S. history. As a result, SpaceX’s market valuation climbed to nearly $1.8 trillion.
Today, SpaceX is considered Musk’s most valuable asset. His stake in the company is estimated at around $866 billion. Combined with his holdings in Tesla and other ventures – including xAI, Neuralink, The Boring Company and the social media platform X – the entrepreneur’s total net worth has exceeded $1.1 trillion.
At present, Google co-founder Larry Page remains the world’s second-richest businessman, with a fortune exceeding $300 billion. He is followed by Jeff Bezos, whose wealth is nearly three times smaller than Musk’s.
