Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter gets married: a closer look at her wedding dress
The gown took more than 700 hours to create
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ youngest daughter, 32-year-old Tallulah Willis, has married musician Justin Acee — the former drummer of Made Violent, who now releases music under the moniker NIGHTIES. The wedding took place on August 8 in Sun Valley, Idaho.
For the ceremony, Tallulah chose a custom Balenciaga gown designed especially for her by the fashion house’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli. It was one of the designer’s first bridal creations since joining Balenciaga.
The strapless silk satin gown featured a sculptural neckline, a fitted silhouette and a long draped train finished with a bow at the back. The neckline held particular significance, as its shape was inspired by one of Demi Moore’s dresses. A long, hand-embroidered veil completed the look.
Balenciaga’s artisans spent a total of 712 hours creating the bridal ensemble — from constructing the gown and carrying out multiple fittings to embellishing the veil. Organza petals were individually embroidered with beads by hand, with this intricate work alone taking approximately 60 hours.
A month before the wedding, Tallulah joined her mother at Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut couture show for Balenciaga in Paris. Mother and daughter sat front row, both dressed in looks by the fashion house.
The final fitting took place just over a week before the ceremony at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Tallulah was joined by her sisters, Rumer and Scout Willis, as well as celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. Just six months before the wedding, the bride had been browsing dresses on Etsy, but ultimately chose a bespoke Balenciaga creation.
For Tallulah, the gown also carried deeply personal meaning. Speaking to Vogue, she said she viewed it as a reflection of her own transformation, self-acceptance and inner strength.
Tallulah and Justin began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in December 2024. The happy news was warmly welcomed by the bride’s family: Demi Moore publicly congratulated her daughter, while her older sisters, Rumer and Scout Willis, shared heartfelt messages for the couple.
Ahead of the wedding, Scout also posted a photo of Tallulah and Justin after they obtained their marriage license at the Blaine County Courthouse in Hailey, Idaho.
Tallulah previously shared that Justin had been an important source of support during a difficult period for her family amid her father’s health struggles. In 2022, Bruce Willis’ family announced that the actor was stepping away from his career after being diagnosed with aphasia. The following year, they revealed that his condition had progressed and that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Whether Bruce Willis attended his daughter’s wedding or accompanied her down the aisle remains unknown.
