British actor and musician Ben Barnes, known for his roles in «The Chronicles of Narnia» and «Dorian Gray», has married American actress and singer Aubrey Cleland. The wedding of the 45-year-old actor and his 33-year-old bride took place at Château de Lis in Oregon, the state where the bride is from. Around 150 guests attended the celebration, according to «Page Six».
Barnes shared a series of wedding photos on social media, accompanying them with a heartfelt message about how true happiness lies in finding a soulmate among billions of people — someone with whom you can be yourself and feel understood and accepted.
«We got married! In a world of eight billion people, it’s incredible to find a soulmate — someone who shares your sense of humour, curiosity and humanity. Someone with whom you can be yourself and feel understood, valued and loved for exactly who you are.
For the first time, I can call myself a happy husband. I have married a woman of rare grace, kindness and beauty. She sees wonder, joy and laughter in things I might otherwise have overlooked, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. We are incredibly happy and can’t wait to see everything that lies ahead», the actor wrote.
For the special occasion, the bride chose a romantic, snow-white maxi dress featuring a fitted corset-style bodice and delicate shoulder straps. The groom opted for a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie, complemented by an elegant white floral boutonnière on his lapel.
The couple’s love story began in the summer of 2024.
