Meghan Markle to host a children’s cooking show amid scandal surrounding her father

And leaves the UK
Meghan Markle is going through a difficult time amid the investigation involving her father, Thomas Markle. Against the backdrop of the scandal, the Duchess has left the UK with Prince Harry and their children. Meanwhile, details of her new television project have emerged.
According to a source close to the couple, quoted by Hello!, Meghan is finding the situation extremely difficult. She reportedly looks at her daughter, Lilibet, and cries as she thinks about the children who may have been harmed. The insider described the situation as devastating for the Duchess. They also said she had decided to limit contact with the media for a while to protect her emotional well-being.

The family’s exact whereabouts remain unknown. According to the publication, they have travelled abroad and are staying at the home of a close friend.
Despite the family turmoil, Meghan continues to work on new projects. In 2027, she will co-host the children’s cooking competition «Junior MasterChef Australia» alongside chef and television presenter Poh Ling Yeow. Contestants aged nine to 13 will compete to create a range of dishes.

The Duchess previously appeared on the Australian edition of the adult cooking show «MasterChef Australia». In April 2026, she served as a guest judge on one episode. The programme attracted its largest Sunday audience since 2023 that week.
«I had such a wonderful time with the entire MasterChef team in April. So when I was invited back to work with young talent, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. I love cooking with my children, and I’m excited to see what these little stars will create», Meghan said.

The upcoming season of «Junior MasterChef Australia» will be the first in six years. Filming is scheduled to take place in Melbourne in 2027. It has not yet been announced whether Harry and the children will accompany Meghan to Australia.
