Silk satin and a four-meter veil: Dove Cameron reveals her bridal look

The news recently made headlines around the world that American actress and singer Dove Cameron and Måneskin frontman Damiano David had tied the knot. The couple got married in the Tuscan town of Montalcino.
Now the bride has revealed her wedding dress, which was custom-designed for her by Alessandro Michele, Creative Director of Valentino.

The bride’s gown was both ethereal and sophisticated, crafted from shimmering silk satin and delicate chiffon. A fitted, sculptural corset accentuated her silhouette before flowing into a dramatic, multilayered train made of sheer fabric.
«My biggest wish was for the dress to be simple yet sophisticated, and for me to feel like myself in it. It’s so romantic», Cameron said.
The standout detail was the four-meter-long veil. Made from delicate silk tulle, it was hand-embroidered with tiny crystals and beads arranged in the shape of a constellation.
The celestial motif held special meaning for Dove. Her middle name is Celeste, which means «heavenly». That is why the cosmic theme became part of her bridal look. The actress was born Chloe Celeste Hosterman. She later took the name Dove because her father had called her Dove — «little dove» — since childhood. When she was 15, her father died, and she officially changed her first name from Chloe to Dove to preserve his memory.
