After a year of dating
Dakota Johnson and 29-year-old singer Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, are no longer together. PEOPLE reports the news, citing a source.
Their romance began in late 2025. Dakota and Tucker were first spotted together over dinner in December. The following month, they went on a date in Los Angeles, and the couple were later seen together in New York as well.

The two kept their relationship largely out of the public eye. At the same time, rumors increasingly circulated online that their romance was more than just a casual flirtation. Reports suggested that Dakota was fond of the musician but, following her split from Chris Martin, was in no rush to enter another serious relationship.
Johnson and Pillsbury also had the chance to work together. The actress contributed to the song «Love I You» from his new album «Chuck Timely & the Hourglass». She spontaneously stopped by the studio while the singer was working on the track.

At first, Pillsbury was reluctant to mix his personal and professional lives. However, the producer suggested that Dakota record a part for the song, and she agreed. According to the musician, the actress went straight into the studio and delivered her part even better than they had expected.
The track features a playful exchange between the two. Role Model sings that Dakota is perfect, while she responds with flirtatious lines. The musician later described the exchange as a particularly special part of the song.
Interestingly, Pillsbury only spoke publicly about their relationship a few weeks before news of their breakup emerged. It remains unclear exactly when the couple decided to end their relationship.

The reason behind Johnson and Pillsbury’s split has also not been disclosed. Representatives for both stars have not commented on the situation.
