Meghan Markle shares rare family photos

To mark her son’s 7th birthday
The son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently celebrated his birthday – the boy turned seven years old. To mark the occasion, the Duchess of Sussex shared two rare family photographs on Instagram.
The first image shows newborn Archie in Prince Harry’s arms. In the second, the older boy is seen playing on the beach with his younger sister, Princess Lilibet. As usual, the children’s faces are not shown, as the couple continues to carefully protect their privacy.

«Seven years later … happy birthday to our sweet boy», – Meghan wrote.
Judging by the photos, one of the images was taken in 2019, during Archie’s first months of life, while the other appears to have been captured much later during a family holiday by the water. The photographs also reveal the distinctive reddish shade of the children’s hair – a feature Prince Harry has often mentioned with affection.

Archie was born in London in 2019, when his parents were still serving as senior working members of the British royal family. In 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped back from their official royal duties and moved to the United States – a decision that later became informally known as «Megxit». In 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter, Lilibet.
Since then, the couple has rarely shared photographs of their children, choosing instead to shield them from media attention. Such images usually appear only on special occasions – most often in celebratory posts.
