Kate Middleton recently offered a perfect example of this trend. The Duchess combined three key items: a black turtleneck, a gray cardigan from With Nothing Underneath, and a dark olive jacket by the British heritage brand Barbour, known for its practical and timeless designs. She completed the look with a Ralph Lauren tweed skirt in a deep brown hue – a refined touch in true «country chic» style.
In this outfit, the wife of Prince William visited a linen farm in Northern Ireland, where she met the owners – Helen Keys, recipient of the Order of the British Empire, and Charlie Mallon.
During the visit, the Princess of Wales tried her hand at operating a vintage flax-processing machine and learned about the full production cycle – from seed to finished fiber.
