Kate Middleton shares how nature helped her in her battle with cancer

Let’s watch the video
The Prince and Princess of Wales — William and Kate — have shared a touching short film dedicated to spring and its symbolism of renewal. In the video posted on Instagram, Kate Middleton speaks about how nature supported her during her cancer battle.
The three-minute clip was filmed during the royal couple’s recent trip to the Scottish island of Mull. The footage shows them walking through Ardure Forest, admiring the spring landscapes and mountains. Kate shares that being outdoors became a source of strength during a difficult time:
«Last year, nature was my refuge,» she says.
This video marks the beginning of a new series of seasonal short stories and was released in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK. The video ends with a warm moment of Kate and William laughing together while sitting on a rock. The Princess adds:
«Spring is a time of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. And just like nature, we too renew.»
As a reminder, in early 2024 Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery, after which she was diagnosed with cancer. The Princess temporarily withdrew from public life to focus on treatment. In the autumn of the same year, she announced she was in remission and has gradually begun resuming her royal duties. Most recently, she participated in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II together with her family.
