Kate Middleton in emerald total look at the ceremonial parade in London

On the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day
The Princess of Wales has returned to royal duties after completing her treatment and is now making more frequent public appearances. Recently, Kate Middleton visited the 1st Battalion of the Irish Guards as part of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
She awarded medals to soldiers and presented traditional shamrock sprigs to officers and guardsmen at the Wellington Barracks.
For the formal event, the princess appeared in an emerald coat dress by Alexander McQueen and Ralph Lauren boots, completing her look with a hat by Gina Foster. Interestingly, the designer no longer makes headwear, as noted on her Instagram page, which now features the message: No longer making hats for the great and the good.
Her outfit was complemented by a gold shamrock-shaped brooch and earrings from the London-based jewelry brand Kiki McDonough, adorned with green amethysts, tourmalines, and diamonds.
The color scheme was chosen deliberately as a tribute to the uniform of the Irish Guards.
«Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It’s great to be back to join the Irish Guards at their annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade here at Wellington Barracks. I’m proud to be your Colonel and to celebrate the regiment’s 125th anniversary with you today», read the official Instagram post of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
This marks the first parade that Kate Middleton led independently as Colonel of the Irish Guards. Last year, she missed the celebrations, while in 2023, she attended the event alongside Prince William.
