Forbes names the highest-paid actors of 2024
They earned massive sums
Forbes magazine has published its ranking of the highest-paid actors of 2024. The calculations were based on data from agents, managers, lawyers, IMDbPro, and other sources. Earnings unrelated to the film industry were not included in the estimates.
Topping the list is Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson, who also led the ranking in 2020. Over the year, he earned $88 million, with the majority coming from his roles in Red One and Moana 2.
Ryan Reynolds followed closely, adding $85 million to his bank account. Johnson’s co-star in Red Notice and Fast & Furious received substantial paychecks for his roles in Deadpool & Wolverine, IF, and the documentary Welcome to Wrexham.
Kevin Hart secured the third spot with $81 million. He starred in Lift and The Heist, both produced for Netflix.
Others in the top ten include Jerry Seinfeld ($60 million), Hugh Jackman ($50 million), Brad Pitt ($32 million), George Clooney ($31 million), and Adam Sandler ($26 million).
The highest-paid actress was Nicole Kidman, earning $31 million, placing her 9th overall.
Also featured on the list are Will Smith ($26 million) and Channing Tatum ($24 million).
