Angelina Jolie admits motherhood saves her from loneliness

Living for her children
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, who chose a reclusive lifestyle following her divorce from Brad Pitt, has openly confessed for the first time that she doesn’t consider herself lonely. Despite global fame and immense demand in the film industry, the 49-year-old actress and mother of six sees her family, not her career, as the center of her life. She admits that motherhood is what keeps loneliness at bay.
«I don’t feel lonely because I have my family. My work isn’t everything. Being a mother is everything», — Jolie shared in an interview with The Sunday Times.
The actress also emphasized the crucial role motherhood has played in her life. While raising her children has meant sacrificing her own independence, Jolie revealed that her kids have ultimately saved her from falling apart.
«I think I would have gone down the darkest path if I didn’t want to live for them. I try to raise them to be the best version of myself», — the star explained.
