Johnny Depp Opens His Art Exhibition in New York

The Hollywood star reaches new heights
American actor, director, and musician Johnny Depp has unveiled his own «immersive experimental exhibition» at the Starrett-Lehigh building in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. The exhibition, titled «A Bunch of Stuff», showcases previously unknown works by Johnny, as well as personal artifacts from the sets of his most famous films. According to the organizers, the exhibition will feel like «a visit to a film studio and an encounter with the actor’s world» for Depp’s fans.
For the opening, the 61-year-old actor arrived wearing a light-brown coat, wide blue jeans, a gray T-shirt, and a camouflage shirt. He completed his look with a pair of black paint-splattered boots, a floral scarf wrapped around his neck, black sunglasses, and a light-brown cowboy hat.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is the «Black Box», a visual instrument that immerses viewers into Johnny Depp’s creativity. The «Black Box» was created by TAIT in close collaboration with the artist and is said to be «carefully designed to transform Depp’s artwork from canvas to animated film».
Also featured is the «White Box», showcasing «60 physical art pieces created by Johnny Depp over three decades».
