Wearers: Demi Moore in Swarovski jewelry at the Cannes Film Festival

A tribute to the glamour of old Hollywood
This year, Demi Moore became one of the standout stars of the 79th Cannes Film Festival. The Hollywood actress served as a member of the festival jury while consistently commanding attention on the red carpet with a series of striking appearances in elegant evening gowns featuring bold дизайнерські details.
One of her most memorable looks came at the premiere of La Bola Negra. For the occasion, the 63-year-old actress chose a deep cornflower-blue gown by Self-Portrait crafted from French moiré fabric. The off-the-shoulder silhouette was accentuated by an oversized sculptural bow with cascading ribbons flowing into a dramatic train.

According to Moore’s stylist Brad Goreski, the look was inspired by couture evening gowns from the 1950s – particularly the glamorous designs created for grand stairway entrances and high-society events. The architectural bow functioned not merely as a decorative detail, but as an integral part of the sculptural silhouette, adding movement and theatrical elegance to the ensemble.

The outfit was completed with a luxurious necklace from the Swarovski Created Diamonds Galaxy Collection by Swarovski. Featuring more than 150 carats of laboratory-grown diamonds, the piece perfectly reinforced the old Hollywood aesthetic envisioned by the styling team.

Moore’s new hairstyle also became one of the most talked-about details of the evening. The actress traded her signature long hair for a softly waved bob that brought freshness and classic cinematic sophistication to the look. As Goreski noted, the hairstyle transformation completely changed the mood of the appearance, making it feel both more refined and contemporary.
