Olivia Wilde responds to rumours of a conflict with Florence Pugh

In an interview with The Cut
Olivia Wilde is the cover star of the latest issue of The Cut. The actress appears on the magazine’s cover and takes part in a stylish photoshoot by American photographer Chloe Chippendale.

On the cover, Wilde wears a white shirt paired with a McQueen trouser suit featuring satin lapels.

The rest of the editorial is equally striking, with the actress posing while seated on a chair. However, it is the atmospheric black-and-white photographs that have drawn the most attention.

Alongside the photoshoot, the new issue features an exclusive interview in which Olivia speaks in detail for the first time about the rumours of a conflict with Florence Pugh that surfaced during the production of Don’t Worry Darling in 2022. At the time, there was widespread speculation about alleged tensions between Wilde, Pugh and Harry Styles on set.

According to the actress, all of those claims – including reports of a feud with Florence Pugh – are untrue.
«I never had any arguments on set», Wilde told The Cut.

The actress also reflected on the intense public attention surrounding her relationship with Harry Styles, whom she met while filming the movie. Their relationship lasted nearly two years before coming to an end in 2022.

Olivia described the relationship as «full of love, beautiful and joyful» and revealed that she had been advised not to publicly deny the rumours.

«I was told, “Don’t say a damn word. Just go out there and smile”. It made me angry, but the whole experience taught me that I don’t want to handle things that way. I wanted to say, “None of it is true”», the actress added.
