Melissa Naschenweng to Receive Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Vienna

Set to Be Unveiled in June
Austrian singer Melissa Naschenweng is set to receive her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Vienna. Museum representatives have officially confirmed that work on creating a lifelike replica of the artist is already underway.

The figure is scheduled to be unveiled in mid-June at Vienna’s Prater, where it will stand alongside other stars of the Austrian music scene, including Andreas Gabalier, Hansi Hinterseer, and Christina Stürmer. For the 35-year-old performer, best known for her hit I steh auf Bergbauernbuam, this marks an important milestone in her career.

Work on the figure began back in October 2025, when museum artists conducted an extensive session to capture every key detail—from her skin tone to her eye color and height. Melissa herself admitted that the news of her wax figure is a great honor, made even more meaningful by her strong connection to her native Lesachtal valley.
