Let’s watch the new trailer for «Odyssey» by Christopher Nolan

The film company Universal Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for «Odyssey», directed by Academy Award–winning Christopher Nolan. Within the first six hours, the video garnered 1.81 million views on YouTube.

«Odyssey» will be Nolan’s first film since «Oppenheimer» (2023), for which he received the «Oscar» for Best Director.

The story is based on Homer’s epic poem of the same name, which tells of Odysseus’s ten-year journey home to the island of Ithaca after the end of the Trojan War. The lead role is played by Matt Damon, his son Telemachus by Tom Holland, his wife Penelope by Anne Hathaway, and Antinous – one of the many suitors vying for her hand – by Robert Pattinson.

The world premiere is scheduled for July 17, 2026. According to The Guardian, the film’s budget is approximately 250 million dollars, and the total length of the footage shot exceeds 600,000 meters.
