How the presentation of the new Baccarat collection at Royal Maison Vienna took place

Let’s take a look at how it unfolded
The Royal Maison Vienna in Vienna hosted the presentation of the new New Antique collection by the iconic French crystal house Baccarat, created in collaboration with the internationally renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. The event marks the brand’s 260th anniversary and is on view at the showroom on Walfischgasse 15 until June 3, 2026.

The exhibition brings together collectible pieces that reinterpret the maison’s heritage through a contemporary design language. At its core lies a dialogue between crystal and white Carrara marble, as well as a fusion of sculptural expression and functional design.

Among the showcased works are the sculptural piece Solar, the Prima vase, and the Clochette lamp, which creates an atmospheric lighting effect. The collection continues ideas first introduced in the original 2014 New Antique project, evolving into a broader artistic universe.

Founded in 1764 in the Lorraine region of France, Baccarat has remained one of the world’s most prestigious crystal houses for more than two centuries, celebrated for its craftsmanship and artistic collaborations. Marcel Wanders is widely regarded as one of the leading contemporary designers, known for his poetic and theatrical approach that transforms design objects into works of art.

Royal Maison Vienna, the host of the presentation, is a curated destination for luxury tableware, crystal, and interior design, bringing together more than 30 international maisons, including Baccarat, Lalique, and Christofle.

The presentation was also attended by well-known Viennese guests and design enthusiasts. Let’s take a look at how it unfolded:
