HBO Releases Trailer for the Third Season of House of the Dragon

Premieres in June

Streaming platform HBO has unveiled the trailer for the third season of the hit series House of the Dragon. The video was published on the official YouTube channel of HBO Max.

At the center of the story is the struggle for power within the House Targaryen dynasty. The political intrigue that dominated the previous seasons now enters a new phase — a fierce and brutal war for control of the realm and the Iron Throne.

While Rhaenyra Targaryen and her allies prepare to reclaim the crown and the Iron Throne, conflict is also intensifying within the Greens’ faction. In the new trailer, viewers can see the growing tension between King Aegon II Targaryen and his brother Aemond Targaryen, who has effectively seized power.

The premiere of the new season is scheduled for June 21, 2026. It will consist of eight episodes.

The creators of the series had previously confirmed that a fourth season of House of the Dragon is also in development. It will be the final season.
