Five years together: looking back at Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s wedding

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion, the couple shared heartfelt tributes to one another on social media.
«Five years married to my forever», wrote the 56-year-old singer as she posted a collection of photographs from their wedding day.
Among them were touching images of the couple exchanging their wedding vows, close-ups of their wedding rings, their ceremony invitation, and intimate moments of the newlyweds holding hands.
Blake Shelton also dedicated a heartfelt post to his wife, opening his photo gallery with a stunning portrait of Gwen in her wedding gown.
«Five years, and every day just keeps getting better. I love you! Happy anniversary, my beautiful girl», the musician wrote.
Their love story began in 2014 on the set of The Voice, where they both served as coaches. However, it was a series of difficult personal experiences that truly brought them together. In 2015, Shelton divorced his wife, country singer Miranda Lambert. Around the same time, Gwen ended her marriage to No Doubt frontman Gavin Rossdale after discovering his long-term affair with the nanny of their children.
After that, the two artists were increasingly seen together, and by 2016 they made their first official public appearance as a couple. Witnesses later recalled that at the post-Oscar celebration they hardly left each other’s side, behaving like two people who had only just fallen in love.
The pandemic became another defining chapter in their relationship. During that time, Gwen and Blake spent most of their days together at the musician’s ranch in Oklahoma, enjoying the simple pleasures of everyday life – cooking, taking care of the property, and growing even closer. In October 2020, Shelton proposed, and less than a year later – on July 3, 2021 – the couple officially became husband and wife.
Their wedding was an intimate celebration attended only by close family and friends at Blake’s ranch. The ceremony took place in a private chapel that the singer had personally built especially for the occasion.
One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony was the exchange of wedding vows. Instead of delivering a traditional speech, Blake performed a song he had written especially for Gwen. The singer later admitted that she could not hold back her tears.
For the wedding, Gwen Stefani chose two custom Vera Wang gowns. For the ceremony, she wore a romantic silk georgette and tulle dress in a white lily shade, featuring a sweetheart neckline, an asymmetrical hem, and a dramatic cathedral-length veil. One of its most meaningful details was the embroidered names of her three sons – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. For the reception, the singer changed into a strapless mini dress.
Today, Gwen and Blake are raising the singer’s three sons together, and the musician has repeatedly said that even after more than a decade together, their love remains as strong as ever.
«I think that’s really the secret to our happiness – our relationship still feels just as exciting, fresh, and joyful to me», Shelton said in one of his recent interviews.
