Dolly Parton’s home listed for nearly $8 million: what the star’s former residence looks like

Glass walls with panoramic views and a swimming pool
The Hollywood Hills estate once owned by legendary country singer Dolly Parton has been listed for $7.95 million.
Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, purchased the house in 1985 for $750,000. Five years later, the couple sold the property for $1.2 million. The estate was subsequently completely rebuilt in 2009, according to Mansion Global.

The home spans nearly 440 square meters. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the living and dining areas offer panoramic views over Los Angeles, stretching all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

Inside, the property features a library, a media room and a spacious kitchen with a separate guest area. There are four bedrooms, with one of them designed almost like a private apartment.

The bedroom suite includes a coffee station, a fireplace, two bathrooms, a walk-in closet and an additional room that can be used as a home office or gym. It also has direct access to its own terrace.

The estate features a swimming pool with a spa area, as well as an outdoor space nearby for dining and relaxing.

It was previously reported that Dolly Parton died on August 25 at the age of 80 after battling cancer.
