Demi Moore, Taylor Swift and more stars at the Academy Museum Gala

The standout looks of the evening
The sixth annual Academy Museum Gala took place in Los Angeles, bringing together actors, musicians and models dressed in eveningwear by leading fashion houses. The guest list included Taylor Swift, Charlize Theron, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Elle Fanning and many other celebrities.

One of the evening’s biggest stars was Taylor Swift. The singer arrived on the red carpet in a Dior gown designed by Jonathan Anderson. The pale blue creation featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, a draped bodice, a voluminous pleated skirt and a long train. Diamond jewellery by Chopard and softly styled hair completed the look. Its romantic silhouette evoked Cinderella’s fairytale gown.
Charlize Theron opted for a black ensemble by Tom Ford, accessorised with jewellery by Boucheron. The actress also received the Icon Award that evening in recognition of her significant impact on world cinema.
Pamela Anderson appeared in a crisp white blouse paired with an airy pistachio-green chiffon skirt by Carolina Herrera.
Kendall Jenner chose a custom Valentino gown covered in polka dots. The black-and-white design featured a strapless neckline, a voluminous skirt with a high slit and matching shoes in the same print.
Hailey Bieber wore a custom pink Chanel gown by Matthieu Blazy, featuring a fitted silhouette and a long skirt. The neckline and straps were particularly striking, adorned with floral embroidery, pearls and colourful gemstones.
Elle Fanning opted for a Valentino gown in delicate pastel shades, featuring a butterfly-shaped embellishment on the bodice. A long, cape-like train made from lightweight fabric enhanced the romantic look, while Cartier jewellery added a refined sparkle.
Kate Hudson chose a soft pink Armani Privé gown embellished with crystals.
Emma Chamberlain appeared in a dark red, off-the-shoulder Giorgio Armani creation.
Demi Moore opted for a couture look by Standing Ground.
Janelle Monáe drew attention in an unconventional Robert Wun gown featuring voluminous details resembling butterfly wings.
Beyond the fashion moments, the gala served an important cultural purpose. The event raises funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which preserves the history of cinema and hosts exhibitions, film screenings and educational programmes.
This year, director and composer John Carpenter also received the Luminary Award. He attended the event with his wife, Sandy King.
Actor Colman Domingo, who wore a Valentino suit, was honoured with the Vantage Award.
Taylor Swift brought the evening to a close with a performance that served as the event’s musical highlight.
