New dispute over Michael Jackson’s estate: daughter seeks $600 million

17 years after the King of Pop’s death
A new legal dispute has erupted over Michael Jackson’s estate.
The King of Pop’s 28-year-old daughter, Paris Jackson, is seeking to have $600 million transferred into a family trust benefiting her and her brothers — 29-year-old Prince and 24-year-old Bigi.
Paris has already filed the request with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Page Six reports.
The musician’s daughter claims that even 17 years after his death, Jackson’s children still do not have proper access to the fortune he left behind.

According to Jackson, she and her brothers were supposed to begin receiving income from their shares in the trust after turning 21. However, Paris claims that the heirs are in fact receiving smaller payments, with the amounts determined by the estate’s executors.
The principal assets, meanwhile, are intended to pass to the children gradually. Under the terms of the will, they receive a portion at the age of 30, another portion at 35, and full access to the remaining funds at 40.

The sums involved are substantial. According to court documents, Michael Jackson’s estate was valued at approximately $850 million as of the end of 2024. Paris believes that at least $600 million could already be transferred into the family trust.
Representatives of the King of Pop’s estate, however, dispute her claims. According to them, more than $200 million has already been distributed to Michael Jackson’s children.
The matter will now be decided in court — hearings in the case are scheduled for December.
