Like a work of art: Sharon Stone shows her colorful home in Beverly Hills

Paintings, vibrant textiles and plenty of artistic details
Sharon Stone has offered a glimpse behind the scenes of her life, revealing her distinctive home in Beverly Hills. Her residence looks nothing like a typical Hollywood mansion from an interior-design catalogue — it is filled with art, colour, statement objects and expressive textiles.

One of Stone’s greatest passions today is painting. The 68-year-old actress does not simply paint in her spare time — her works have already been exhibited in San Francisco and Berlin. For her, art has become a way of expressing what she has lived through when ordinary words are no longer enough.
Behind the glamorous image of the Hollywood star lies a complicated personal story. Stone experienced nine miscarriages, went through a divorce and adopted three children. At the age of 43, the actress also suffered a stroke. Her recovery was a long and difficult process — it took around seven years.

After the stroke, painting took on a special significance for Stone: it became a kind of path towards recovery.
The same philosophy can be seen throughout Stone’s Beverly Hills home. Art is not hidden behind glass here, nor is it treated simply as an expensive decorative element. It quite literally lives alongside its owner and tells her story.

The rooms are filled with colour, texture and objects with stories of their own: books, paintings, sculptures, panoramic wallpapers, vibrant textiles and an abundance of unusual pieces.

Scottish designer Wendy Morrison helped bring colour and character to Stone’s interiors. Their relationship began in a rather unexpected way — the actress came across the designer’s work online and was so impressed that she reached out to her directly on Instagram.

«I had never seen anything so beautiful», Sharon recalled in an interview with Madame Figaro.
The Hollywood star’s home also features numerous paintings created by Stone herself. Among them is «The Witching Hour». The actress painted the work after being inspired by the design of the «Moondance Wellbeing» rug created by Wendy Morrison.
