Victoria Beckham unveils a Portofino ’97-inspired pop-up

Inspired by the spirit of the Italian Riviera
British designer Victoria Beckham has unveiled a themed pop-up at New York’s Caffè Paradiso, dedicated to her fragrance Portofino ’97. The scent was inspired by memories of a romantic trip to Portofino that she and David Beckham took together in 1997.

Until 20 July, visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the sun-drenched Italian Riviera while enjoying a menu created exclusively for the collaboration. The signature offering is the «’97 Iced Vanilla Bergamot Latte», accompanied by a selection of citrus-infused drinks and desserts that echo the fragrance’s fresh, Mediterranean composition.

Among the first guests to visit the pop-up were Victoria Beckham herself and her family. She was joined by her husband David Beckham, daughter Harper, sons Romeo and Cruz, as well as Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel.

Victoria later shared photos from the event on her Instagram page.

For the opening, the Beckhams opted for coordinated looks in deep navy tones. Victoria wore a silk midi dress from her own label featuring elegant draping, styled with brown heeled sandals and understated gold jewellery.

David complemented her look with a classic navy suit, a black T-shirt and suede loafers.

A standout feature of the pop-up is a vintage Fiat 500 bearing the custom licence plate «Portofino 97», which serves as the event’s signature photo backdrop. Victoria and David happily posed beside the iconic car for guests and photographers throughout the launch.
