Iconic «Gilmore Girls» house listed for sale for nearly $4 Million
Take a look inside
Exciting news for fans of the beloved series «Gilmore Girls»: the house that became one of the first recognizable landmarks of the fictional town of Stars Hollow and appeared in the very first episode as the home of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore has been put on the market in Canada.
The historic Victorian property, located in the Unionville district of Ontario, is listed for 3.8 million Canadian dollars – the equivalent of nearly 4 million US dollars.

The two-story residence has retained all the distinctive features of its era, including steeply pitched roofs, a spacious veranda, white shutters, and a charming pale turquoise façade.
The home offers approximately 264 square meters of living space. Inside, there are three bedrooms and three fireplaces, along with a wealth of original architectural details such as exposed wooden ceiling beams, authentic wide-plank flooring, and a historic brick chimney.

Among the property’s most unique interior features are early 20th-century veranda lanterns, a wrought-iron fireplace stand dating back to 1850, and an original front door from the 1860s complete with its period hardware.

The grounds also include a separate historic building that operated as a local bakery from 1910 to 1984. Today, it has been fully updated and can serve as an office, creative studio, or guest house.

In addition, the main residence features a private terrace with a separate entrance and a finished lower level equipped with guest accommodations.
Interestingly, over the course of nearly 150 years, the estate has had only five owners.
