Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse have revealed the gender of their first child – the couple are expecting a baby girl. They shared the joyful news during the debut episode of Dylan’s new podcast, «Wildmen», where they spoke candidly about their journey to parenthood for the first time.
During the conversation, it was Barbara who encouraged her husband to share the announcement with listeners. Dylan revealed that they have already started affectionately calling their future daughter «Principessa» – the Italian word for «princess».
«Yes, we’re having a girl. I can’t wait to meet her. I love the idea of becoming the father of a daughter», the actor said.
In response, Barbara joked that having a daughter would make her husband even gentler and more caring. At the same time, the couple admitted that they have not yet decided on a name and are still choosing between several options.
Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse announced that they were expecting their first child in May this year, making the news public during their appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, where the model debuted her visibly growing baby bump. Later, Barbara also shared that her pregnancy has not been easy, revealing that the final trimester has been marked by nausea, heartburn and a constant feeling of hunger.
The couple’s love story began in 2018. They announced their engagement in June 2023 and tied the knot just a month later in Hungary, Barbara’s home country. Their daughter will be their first child together.
