In sky blue: a closer look at Catherine, Princess of Wales’ latest appearance

The Princess attended Wimbledon
Since completing her treatment and returning to royal duties, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been making public appearances more frequently. This time, she attended the fourth day of the Wimbledon Championships – one of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments, of which she has served as patron since 2016.

Before play began, the 44-year-old Princess greeted tennis fans who had been waiting since early morning for the gates to open. She happily posed for photographs and also met with participants of the «Shine Camera Club» charity programme, which supports children from low-income families.

Later, Catherine took her seat in the Royal Box on Centre Court, where she watched the match between Britain’s Arthur Fery and Finland’s Otto Virtanen alongside former British tennis player Tim Henman.

For the occasion, the Princess chose an elegant sky-blue linen suit by Gabriela Hearst, pairing it with a white H&M top. She completed the look with understated Ralph Lauren pumps, lapis lazuli and moonstone earrings by Carousel Jewels, diamond rings, and a sleek high ponytail. According to fashion experts, the total value of the outfit, including accessories, exceeded 6,700 US dollars.

Her hairstyle attracted just as much attention as her outfit. Instead of her signature soft waves, Catherine opted for a sleek high ponytail. British hairstylists consider this one of the most flattering styles for creating a natural lifting effect, as it visually defines the facial contours, accentuates the cheekbones, and gives the features a more sculpted appearance.

Catherine’s love of tennis has long been well known. Her appearance at Wimbledon has become an integral part of the tournament, and each visit attracts not only tennis enthusiasts but also fashion commentators, who closely follow her impeccably curated looks.
