The Royal Family has released a new portrait of Princess Charlotte

On the eve, the daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Prince of Wales, Charlotte, celebrated her birthday. The young princess turned 11 years old. On this occasion, the Royal Family released a new portrait of the birthday girl, who is third in line to the British throne after her father and brother.
In the photograph, Charlotte poses against a natural landscape. She is wearing a striped jumper and blue jeans, with a sincere, radiant smile on her face.
The image was taken by photographer Matthew Porteous during the family’s Easter holiday in Cornwall.
«Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!», wrote the Prince and Princess of Wales, adding a birthday cake emoji.
According to Mirror, the girl has a family nickname – Lottie. As Kate Middleton has said, she is often called this at home.
Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl also noted that this is not Charlotte’s only nickname – her parents sometimes refer to her as a «warrior princess» due to her strong personality.
