Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc ties the knot: a closer look at the wedding photos
An intimate ceremony in Monaco
Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc has married 25-year-old model Alexandra Saint Mle. The ceremony took place at Monaco’s City Hall, just steps away from the Prince’s Palace. The couple opted for an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends, away from media attention.
Rather than arriving in a limousine, the newlyweds chose a vintage 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Only 33 examples of this model were produced between 1957 and 1961, and today its value is estimated at tens of millions of dollars – a striking choice for a racing driver’s wedding.
The bride walked down the aisle in a gown by Australian label Paolo Sebastian, featuring a dramatic neckline and delicate lace detailing. She completed the look with a diamond necklace by Graff and carried a bouquet of white lilies.
The groom selected a classic beige suit paired with a white shirt and grey tie.
Their long-haired dachshund, Leo, also made an appearance at the ceremony, dressed in a miniature tuxedo.
Following the civil ceremony, the couple headed to the historic Villa La Vigie on the French Riviera, bordering Monaco, for a photoshoot. Built in the early 20th century, the mansion has long belonged to aristocratic families and billionaires.
In the 1980s, Karl Lagerfeld rented the villa under the condition that he would fully restore the property in exchange for residency rights. The designer invested more than $14 million in its renovation, and La Vigie later hosted numerous Chanel fashion house photoshoots.
«A day we will remember forever», Leclerc wrote on social media, adding that a larger celebration is planned for next year.
The couple were first spotted together in March 2023 during Paris Fashion Week. Two months later, they confirmed their relationship. Since then, Charles and Alexandra have made regular public appearances together – in the stands at Wimbledon, at football matches, and, of course, at races.
In 2024, they welcomed a puppy, sharing the news on social media, and a year later announced their engagement. Leclerc proposed during a romantic candlelit dinner: the house was adorned with red roses, and among the desserts were cookies bearing the initials A&C. The highlight was an impressive diamond ring of remarkable size.
