The premiere of the animated film «Elio» took place in Los Angeles the other day. Among the guests was Zoe Saldana – the 46-year-old actress voices one of the main characters in the movie.
She was accompanied by her sons – 10-year-old twins Bowie and Cy, and Zen, who is 8 years old. Zoe rarely brings her children to public events, so their appearance caused quite a stir.
The actress posed for photographers wearing a brown blouse with voluminous sleeves and a mustard pencil skirt. Her sons looked just as stylish – in blue blazers, white shirts, dark jeans, and sneakers.
Recently, the actress admitted that her children had been eagerly waiting for the film’s release.
«They immediately connected with the story. I think everyone can relate to the themes Elio touches on: the feeling of being a stranger in your own skin, the feeling of not belonging in this world. But also the desire to be part of a community that accepts you for who you are. My boys definitely loved it», Zoe said in an interview on Good Morning America.
The animated film «Elio» will hit the big screen on June 20. At the center of the story is a young boy named Elio, an outcast with a vivid imagination. He finds himself in an interplanetary organization made up of representatives from different galaxies. The main character is mistakenly identified as the leader of Earth. Now, he must build new connections with unpredictable alien life forms, endure incredible challenges, and discover who he is truly meant to be.
