What Kate Middleton loves to eat and cook

Key elements of the Princess of Wales’ diet
Among all the royal families of Europe, the British monarchy attracts the most global attention. People want to know everything about the British royals – from their favorite foods to the color of the wallpaper in their rooms.
THEINSIDER.AT decided to conduct a small investigation to find out what Kate Middleton enjoys eating and cooking. It turns out that the Princess of Wales’ diet is based on three pillars:
Smoothies
According to sources, Kate loves starting her day with a vitamin boost by treating herself to delicious and nutritious smoothies.
«In the morning and during the day, she drinks smoothies that contain spirulina, kale, matcha (finely ground green tea powder), spinach, romaine, coriander, and blueberries», a source told the Daily Mail.
Home-Cooked Meals
The Princess of Wales is a big fan of homemade food. Moreover, Kate Middleton often spends time in the kitchen herself, delighting her family with delicious dishes.
«In the evenings, she indulges in her hobby – cooking Prince William’s favorite dinner, roast chicken», Vanity Fair reported.
Kate is also known as a passionate baker. She once mentioned that her youngest son, Prince Louis, is a big fan of Mary Berry.
Appearing on Mary’s A Berry Royal Christmas, Kate also admitted:
«I love making birthday cakes. It has become a bit of a tradition that I stay up until midnight with a massive amount of cake mix and icing. I always make too much. But I love it».
Sushi
Known as one of the healthiest on-the-go snacks, sushi is highly favored by both Kate and Prince William. When the royal couple visited Japan House London to meet chef Akira Shimizu, William remarked after trying salmon sashimi:
«Very impressive. Thank you very much. My wife and I love sushi».
