What does Brad Pitt’s new $12 million home look like?

Brad Pitt has long been known for his passion for real estate, architecture, and design – a fascination reflected in his impressive collection of homes in Los Angeles, southern France, and New Orleans. He seeks out and acquires properties of exceptional architectural value, including historic estates, and takes an active role in their restoration and redesign. His portfolio includes the legendary D.L. James House in Carmel Highlands, purchased for $40 million, a $4 million estate near Santa Barbara, the renowned French villa Château Miraval worth around $60 million, and a recently sold residence in Los Feliz for $33 million.
This time, the 61-year-old actor acquired a Spanish-style villa in the prestigious Outpost Estates neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills for $12 million. Built in 1989, the property previously belonged to Dave Keuning, guitarist of The Killers, and his wife, a designer.
Spanning roughly 8,600 square feet, the estate features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a private movie theater, a spacious living room with panoramic windows leading to the pool, and a landscaped garden complete with a vegetable patch. From its windows, one can enjoy sweeping views of downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.
The purchase was driven not only by aesthetics but also by practical concerns. In June, Pitt’s former $5.5 million Los Feliz residence was burglarized. The new home offers a far greater level of privacy: hidden behind lush greenery, equipped with modern security systems, and accessible through a guarded entrance.
According to insiders, Pitt was determined to find a secluded and secure retreat – and this villa proved to be the perfect choice. Some speculate it may soon become a «family nest» for Pitt and his partner Ines de Ramon, with whom he is increasingly seen in public.
