What did Snoop Dogg gift his daughter for her wedding?
The musician gave a generous gift
In 2022, the daughter of American rapper Snoop Dogg, Cori Broadus, announced her engagement to Wayne Duece. However, the wedding had to be postponed because earlier this year, Cori suffered a stroke. In addition, she has been battling lupus since the age of six, requiring her to take 10–12 pills daily.
«Today, I had a severe stroke, and I broke down in tears when I was told. I’m only 24 – what did I do in the past to deserve all this?» Cori shared on her social media.
Recently, Snoop Dogg and his daughter appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Speaking with the host, the Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper revealed what he gifted his daughter ahead of her wedding. The musician made a generous gesture, giving her one million dollars.
Snoop also joked that his own wedding would have cost him much less.
«I told her that if it were my wedding, I’d spend $100 on it and keep the remaining $900 in my pocket», the rapper quipped humorously.
This isn’t the first time Snoop has pampered his daughter. He also mentioned gifting Cori a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon for her 16th birthday.
It’s worth noting that 25-year-old Cori is the youngest of Snoop’s children. The rapper also has a 29-year-old son, Corde, and a 26-year-old son, Cordell, with his wife, Shante Broadus, whom he married in 1997. Additionally, he has a 26-year-old son, Julian, from his former partner, Laurie Holmond.
