«We are no longer friends»: Chris Noth on ending his relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker
The actor says he is disappointed
American actor Chris Noth, best known for his role as Mr. Big in the iconic series Sex and the City, has spoken publicly for the first time about why he ended his communication with Sarah Jessica Parker, with whom he worked on set for many years.
As widely reported, in 2021 several women accused Noth of sexual misconduct. The actor firmly denied all allegations, calling them fabricated and stating that he had never crossed any personal boundaries.

Shortly thereafter, Sarah Jessica Parker, along with Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, released a joint statement expressing support for women who had chosen to speak publicly about their painful experiences. According to Noth, it was this step that marked a turning point in his relationship with his former colleagues.
«We are no longer friends, and I think that’s obvious. The statement they released was nothing more than a marketing move. It was sad, disappointing, and unexpected. Before saying anything – you’ve known me for many years and worked with me for a long time. You could have simply called me so I could tell you my truth», the actor shared on the podcast Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson.
