Watching the first trailer for a film about Melania Trump

Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the first trailer for a documentary film about the wife of the incumbent U.S. president Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump.
The film, titled Melania, focuses on twenty days in the life of the First Lady leading up to Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2025.
The trailer opens with a scene in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol ahead of the president’s second inauguration. Melania Trump looks straight into the camera and remarks with irony: «Here we go again».
The footage brings together familiar moments from the inauguration events – from preparing her look, including the much-discussed hat, to choosing the dress for the first official dance with the newly elected president at the formal inaugural ball.
According to Deadline, Amazon Studios acquired the rights to produce the documentary for $40 million. The company’s founder, Jeff Bezos, was among the guests at the inauguration. The studio notes that the film features exclusive footage of key meetings and private conversations previously unseen by the general public.
The project was directed by Brett Ratner. The premiere of Melania is scheduled for January 30, 2026.
