The worlds of fashion and cinema have crossed paths once again: the first official trailer for Couture, starring Angelina Jolie in the lead role, has been released.

The film was written and directed by French filmmaker Alice Winocour, known for Maryland (2015) and Proxima (2019), starring Eva Green.

Couture follows Maxine Walker (Angelina Jolie), an American filmmaker who travels to Paris to work on a project connected to a high-fashion show. However, events unfold that go far beyond glamour: the heroine is diagnosed with breast cancer.

Alongside Angelina Jolie, the film also stars Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, Garance Marillier, and others.

Notably, the actress previously appeared on the cover of Time France, where she revealed a scar following a mastectomy. The feature is tied to the release of the film and the subject matter Jolie addresses both in the movie and in her interview with the magazine.
