Warner Bros. to Re-Release Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

In celebration of its 25th anniversary
Warner Bros. is preparing to re-release Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in theaters to mark the film’s upcoming 25th anniversary next year, Variety reports.
To commemorate the occasion, the original movie will return to the big screen, accompanied by special collector’s editions and exclusive merchandise featuring a new anniversary logo. Retail stores will also host themed events and promotions. According to Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the celebration «honors the legacy of the film and brings its magic to a new generation of fans.»
The first installment of the Harry Potter saga premiered on November 16, 2001. It launched one of the most successful franchises in cinema history and turned its young stars — Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint — into household names.
