A Spectacular Fashion Show

Last night, Hollywood hosted the grand Vogue World event — the spectacular fashion show traditionally organized by Vogue magazine. This year’s edition was dedicated to the theme of Hollywood, celebrating the timeless dialogue between fashion and cinema.

The runway featured not only models but also actors and musicians, who recreated iconic looks from famous films. Leading fashion houses — including Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Alaïa, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Balmain — presented exclusive capsule collections created especially for the occasion.

The show, conceived by Vogue’s creative director Anna Wintour, took place at Paramount Pictures Studios and, without exaggeration, surpassed last year’s Paris edition in both scale and spectacle.

The evening opened with Nicole Kidman, who appeared on stage channeling the legendary actress Rita Hayworth from the 1946 film Gilda. Dressed in a black satin gown by Matthieu Blazy, she was accompanied by Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann.

Following her, Kendall Jenner took up the cinematic baton, transforming into Satine — the very same character Kidman once portrayed in Moulin Rouge!

Among the standout moments was Betsy Hagan’s tribute to the late Diane Keaton, as she recreated the actress’s iconic Annie Hall look in a Ralph Lauren suit.

Louisa Jacobson, daughter of Meryl Streep, embodied Edward Scissorhands, donning a costume inspired by the aesthetic of Alexander McQueen.

Doja Cat paid homage to Tina Turner, appearing in a glittering chainmail ensemble reminiscent of Turner’s look in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The outfit was designed by artist Michael Schmidt, who had collaborated with Turner on her original stage costumes.

Equally striking were other appearances: Hunter Schafer and Alexa Consani recreated Tilda Swinton’s ethereal wardrobe from Orlando, while Bianca Balti transformed into Rebecca Ferguson’s Lady Jessica from Dune, wearing a gown designed by Jacqueline West.
